SGI-UK FUTURE DIVISION SUMMER COURSE Saturday 27th July OR Sunday 28th July 2013 ‘The Soka Gakkai is now advancing dynamically toward its 100th anniversary (in 2030). The future of every society and organization depends on capable individuals. Fostering the future division members, in that respect, is a critical endeavor that will decide the Gakkai’s fortunes. Indeed, it holds the key to the very future of kosen-rufu, and represents the hope for the fulfilment of humanity’s earnest wish for an age of peace.’ (Our Brilliant Path to Victory: NL8625) In this “’The Year of Victory for a Youthful SGI’”, we are holding Future Division Days on Sat 27th and Sun 28th of July at Taplow Court from 10:30 to 16:00. They will be 1 day courses for young people aged between 7 and 18 years of age, aiming to create a wonderful memory of youth with friends in faith and kick off together towards the cultural events in October as well as towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Soka Gakkai in 2030. Instead of having residential courses for our future division members where only limited numbers can attend, having a 1 day course enables us to reach as many children as possible in SGI-UK and provides us with an exciting vehicle for nourishing the faith of our young precious treasures. With this spirit, the theme of the Day is “Fly Into The Sky Of Hope!” Currently the Future Division in the SGI-UK is divided into 2 groups: younger children (7-12 years old) and older children (13-18 years old). However, we would like to restructure the division into smaller units, further dividing them into 3 groups:
As this is very new to existing Future Division members, we would like to gradually introduce them to the new structure by having some time allocated to come together during the day. We are aiming to welcome 150 children each day and we would like to ask you to attend on the following day:
However, if you are not able to attend on the suggested date please indicate it on the APPLICATION FORM. The deadline of the course application is Sat 22nd June.
